Assignment of Benefits
As long as the patient signed an Assignment of Benefits, Nevada law requires that payment be made directly to the provider of healthcare. If the Insurance Company sends the payment directly to the patient after receiving notice of the assignment, Nevada law requires the Insurance Company to also pay the benefits to the provider as soon as the Insurance Company receives notice of the error.
